Styling Thigh High Boots

So after quite some time I am back with another fashion post featuring some of the stuff that I have bought over the last couple of weeks. To be honest, styling thigh high boots is harder than I expected. When done wrong you can quickly look like a hooker or as if you are wearing a pair of leggings with a heel. Sweater dresses are a really good option but I have yet to find ones that have the perfect length for the shoe. The ones that I have tried on so far tend to slip up when I lift my arms which is very annoying since I don’t want to spend the day controlling every movement I make. Anyway, I tried a couple of combinations and found an outfit I am quite content with.

So as I have said before most of the pieces you already know from my previous fashion haul. I bought the white backpack along with some other things about one week after I had uploaded the haul. Maybe it’s just me but this outfit kind of reminds me of university or something like that. Maybe because of the black, white and grey.. I don’t know. The loose fit of the dress and the coat are  good contrast to the thigh high boots and make the outfit a little more casual. Wearing a shirt under a spaghetti strap top (which is btw another trend revisiting us from the nineties) is probably not everyone’s style and it took me also a little bit to get used to it. But now I think it’s quite cool and can make an outfit more edgy. Maybe you could let me know what you think about this trend and the over all outfit in the comment section down below. I am always happy about feedback 🙂
