I was actually always the kind of person that was never determined to get a tattoo. Some people just seem to know. Some people even already know their desired motive. And some simply come to the conclusion it’s not really their style. I was neither of those people, just something in between figuring I should wait if at some point in my life I really would want to get tattooed. But then I turned 18 last October and shortly after that this idea got stuck in my mind. I have no idea if it was because of my freshly gained freedom or just coincidence. Long story short: last week I finally got around to do it. “It” is a lion’s head right in between my shoulder blades.

And yes, for those of you wondering, it has a special meaning to me apart from lions being my favorite animal of all time. I guess, I could tell you all the details of the price, pain and so on but stuff like this varies from country to country , from tattoo artist to tattoo artist and also depends on the body part getting tattooed as well as individual pain tolerance. This post is rather more an inspirational thingy for people who are interested in different motives or tattoos in general. Maybe some of you even already have a tattoo or are planning on getting one in the near future. I would love to hear your stories and experiences.

      1. You’re welcome. Honestly I thought everybody lied when they said how addicted you can get to getting them. But I literally can not stop, I had had my latest one for about 3 days before the urge to get another came back! Xx
